These words are for anyone who struggles to feel seen when their emotions feel too big, or too different. Over thirty illustrations can be found throughout; each are simple accompaniments inspired by the words filtered through another creative mind.
About the Author
Cassie is a writer of words and lover of nature, vegan nachos, stories, sport and her rescue dog, Buzz.

About the Illustrator
Hayley is an artist with a passion for conservation and sustainable living. She takes artistic inspiration from the wildlife and scenery around her childhood home in the Northern Territory, capturing the rugged terrain and secret oases. Her love of the natural world comes through in her art and she enjoys highlighting the beauty of the lesser known and misunderstood members of the animal kingdom. Hayley works with a variety of mediums, including graphite pencils, acrylic paints and watercolour.
When not creating art, Hayley is an avid reader, a keen bushwalker and an enthusiastic gardener.
