Each year, Ruddy Turnstones undertake one of nature's great migrations, travelling thousands of kilometres between their northern breeding grounds. This bird, photographed by Luke Enright on Darwin's coastline, was beginning to develop the rich chestnut breeding plumage.
This work featured in my first exhibition ‘Chromatic Encounters’ the Olive Pink Botanic Gardens in Alice Springs. The original drawing has been professionally framed locally.
